Hey everybody!

Thanks for coming out again to support us this Tuesday. Today is just a quick note to let everybody know we will be taking the next 2 weeks off, to allow the mainstage show to get in and run tech rehearsals. Or run a meth lab. Something like that.

Anyway, see you in a couple weeks!

Feelin': pleased
First off, sorry for being a day late updating, but sometimes it's hard to reach the keyboard past all the groupies.

Anyway, wow.

This week was another great show, and a big show at that. This Tuesday's performance featured 6, that's right 6 teams of improvisors! And it's still only ONE DOLLAR, you can't beat that with a stick.

(That reminds me of my favorite riddle: What's brown and sticky? . . . . A Stick! Yeah, sorry.)

We had 2 performace classes joining us again this week, and let me just say, the level of talent coming into the program is nothing short of amazing. It's not only a bonus for you, our audience, but for the regular Six Ring teams as well. Lots of fun stuff, and it's always great to see new faces.

I'm gonna be sappy and say THANK YOU again to everyone who is spreading the word about our shows. We had another big turnout this week and it's been a blast watching new audience members get introduced to live improvisational comedy.

With that, I'm outta here, we'll see you next week!

Jan. 10th, 2007 @ 02:35 pm WOW!
Feelin': accomplished
First off, many and profuse thanks to everyone who has been recommending our show to friends! Last nights show had all but a couple seats filled, and that is definitely thanks to the word-of-mouth of our rockin' Six Ring audience.

Well, every performer loves to perform to a full house and that certainly showed in the fantastic work done on our humble stage last night. Six Ring regulars It Feels So Good When It Stops started the show with a bang, and that momentum carried on through every set.

Last night also included performances by two different classes from the Brave New Institute: Aunt Mary's Old Coin Purse/Unicorn Sauce (or something like that, they didn't seem too sure of the name themselves but we loved them anyway) and 2 Seconds From A Heart Attack. Both of these young teams tore the house down with sets full of energy and wit, and we all look forward to seeing them again soon.

Another team of Six Ring regulars, Tantrum, brought the show to a close last night and left everyone with some memorable scenes to talk about over the water cooler this morning.

As always, if you missed it, you missed a lot. But there is hope! We'll be back next week for a night of all-new all-improv comedy goodness.

See you Tuesday!

Dec. 20th, 2006 @ 08:19 am Thank you for a great year!
Feelin': accomplished
Six Ring had an excellent show last night, every team was at the top of their game for our final show for the year! Everyone who missed it should be jealous.

Again, thank you to our audience, you guys are the best, and we love performing for you. Last night we got the special treat of a bonus 5th team of improvisers - Stagecoach! That's right, 5 teams for only $1!

Thanks to all our friends and supporters who have been spreading the word about Six Ring over the last year, more people are coming to the show every week. If you have been to Six Ring and enjoyed yourself (or someone else) tell a friend! We survive on word of mouth, and audience recommendations are huge for us.

With that, we're out of here until January 9th.

So until then, have a delightful Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Crimbo/Yule and a happy New Year!
